Next future interfaces
Holographic Interface - round interface - Ringo from Ivan Tihienko on Vimeo.
This is a concept (ringO by Ivan Tihienko from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design) of how fast graphic interfaces are evolving.
Thanks to new technologies, constrictions by the screen monitors will be overridden by holographic interfaces which will free people from the constriction to be working with devices like a smart-phones or computers. This is not virtual, but augmented reality.

Pretty busy last days. Managed to get off all the bills and the papers. Now sick with swollen face... I seem an hybrid between a Japanese rice ball and an horror movie creature. Thanks to wwwdotjondoyledesigndotcom for the image.

New Honda Civic Commercial
A new aesthetical vision of the city is suggested by driving the new Honda Civic. I give thumbs up for this ad, which hits for its simple and tasty images, promoting the product detaching from a specific feature and looking afar other commercials of Japanese vehicles.
Also the older one is terrific!

Dropclock
New fresh screensaver by SCR available for Windows and OS X. If you like these things you may take a sneak peak to Kaze to Desktop wich waves the windows according to the wind (kaze - ιΆ¨) conditions of your city. Fun and diskspace-eater.
My favourite since 2004 is Fliqlo, which remembers a retro alarm clock display; particularly the famous Cifra 2 alarm clock, a rare design object. Why is it so good? It's simple, you can easily control its preferences, works good, doesn't need much memory and animations are smooth, also on old systems works perfectly too. Why do I like this last so much? Well.. it's Italian style and has been produced by a collaboration between Gino Valle (ex-IUAV professor) and Solari, an international large-display design company settled in Udine, Italy.
Then, the design of 9031 is so geekly nostalgic.
